Eligibility:
The Govee x The Wild Robot Giveaway ("Giveaway") is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Legal residents of the United States, Canada, and Germany.
- 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their country of residence) or older at the beginning of the Giveaway.
- A valid Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook or Govee Home App account is a must.
Participants are excluded if they are employees of Govee Moments (US) Trading Limited ("Sponsor" or "Govee"), Universal City Studios LLC and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, distributors and other prize suppliers, directors, officers, and each of their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household (whether legally related or not) of each.
Activation Period:
This Giveaway will begin on September 27th, 2024 at 11:00 AM EST and ends on October 7th at 11:59 PM EST ("Giveaway Period"). All eligible entries must be submitted within the Giveaway Period, otherwise, entries will be void.
How to Enter:
Participants ("Participants") can enter the Giveaway either via Govee Home App or on social media, including X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
If via Instagram or TikTok, Participants should follow Govee's official account, like the official Giveaway post, and post an AR video lighting up 3 curtain lights or an AR selfie using the AR filter function, tagging #GoveexTheWildRobot and #GoveeCurtainLights, and Govee's official @ handle (@goveeofficial on Instagram and @govee.official on TikTok).
If via X or Facebook, Participants should follow Govee's official account, like, and comment on the official Giveaway post. In addition, a "Repost" or "Share" will be counted as an extra entry.
Winner Selection:
A total of thirty-five (35) winners will be selected from all eligible Entries received during the Giveaway Period. There are five (5) Grand Prize winners, ten (10) 2nd Prize winners, and twenty (20) 3rd Prize winners. Winners will be announced on October 10th and Govee reserves the right to explain the winner selection.
Prizes:
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutes. Govee reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is out of stock. Govee is not responsible for payment of any local, state, or federal taxes that may result from any prizes won in the Giveaway, and payment of any tax requirements resulting from prizes is the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
Grand Prize winners will receive Two (2) Movie Tickets*, one (1) The Wild Robot Prize Package, and three (3) special edition products: one (1) Govee Curtain Lights ($149.99), one (1) Govee TV Backlight* ($109.99), and one (1) Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights ($299.99).
The 2nd Prize winners will receive Two (2) Movie Tickets*, and one (1) of the three special edition products: one (1) Govee Curtain Lights ($149.99), one (1) Govee TV Backlight ($109.99), or one (1) Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights ($299.99).
The 3rd Prize winners will receive Two (2) Movie Tickets*.
*Movie Tickets: Residents of the United States will receive Movie Tickets as Fandango Promotional Codes (each, a “Fandango Code”). Residents of Canada will receive Movie Tickets as Cineplex vouchers/gift cards/promotional codes. Residents of Germany will receive Movie Tickets as common vouchers/ gift cards/ promotional codes.
For prize packages that include Govee TV Backlight, winners may select the model size they prefer.
Each Fandango Code is good towards the purchase of one movie ticket (up to $15 total ticket price and associated fees and charges) to see The Wild Robot at Fandango partner theaters in the US. Fandango Code is void if not redeemed by 11/30/24 or when The Wild Robot is no longer in theaters, whichever comes first. Only valid for purchase of movie tickets made at Fandango.com or via the Fandango app and cannot be redeemed directly at any theater box office. If lost or stolen, cannot be replaced. No cash value, except as required by law. Void where prohibited. Not valid with any other offer. Offer valid in U.S. and D.C., excluding U.S. territories and where prohibited by law. One-time use only. Not for resale; void if sold or exchanged. If cost of movie ticket with Fandango’s associated fees and charges included is more than maximum value of the Fandango Code, then user must pay the difference. Any price difference between movie ticket purchased and maximum value of the Fandango Code will not be refunded. Excludes multiple admission tickets. Limit 2 Fandango Code(s) per person. Winner Notification:
Winners will be announced on Govee's official social accounts and Govee Home App on October 10th, 2024.
For Participants on social media, winners will be announced via an @goveeofficial Instagram Story and an edit update to the official Giveaway post, via an @GoveeOfficial X repost, via an @govee.official TikTok Story and edit update to the official Giveaway post, and via an edit update on the official Giveaway post on Facebook. Govee's official account will contact the winners via Direct Message on the platform where the Participant submitted an Entry, and winners are supposed to reply within seven (7) days, with their full name, email address, phone number, and shipping address provided to claim the prize.
For Participants on Govee Home App, winners will be announced via an edit update to the original Giveaway post. Winners are required to email app@govee.com within seven (7) days of the list of winners being posted. If no email is received after three (3) days of the winner list being posted, Govee will send the winner a reminder email. If a selected winner does not respond within the specified time or does not meet the eligibility requirements, an alternate winner may be selected.
Publicity:
By participating in the Giveaway, participants grant Govee the right to use their names, Instagram handles, X handles, TikTok handles, Facebook handles, Govee Home App handles, and any submitted content for promotional purposes without any compensation or notice.
General Conditions:
Govee reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be violating these Terms & Conditions or attempting to manipulate or tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway. Govee reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Giveaway at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.
Release and Indemnification:
By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, Govee, Universal City Studios LLC, Fandango Loyalty Solutions, LLC, and their respective parents, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, losses, damages, or injuries incurred or arising from their participation in the Giveaway.
Personal Information:
Participants' personal information collected during the Giveaway will be used only for the purpose of administering the Giveaway and will not be shared with third parties.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:
These Terms & Conditions and the Giveaway are governed by the laws of The United States of America without regard to its conflicts of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The United States of America.
