Govee “Galaxy of Lighting” Giveaway Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:

The Govee “Galaxy of Lighting” Giveaway ("Giveaway") is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

Legal residents worldwide excluding residents of Russia, Belarus, China, Cuba, Iran, and North Korea.
18 years of age or older at the beginning of the Giveaway.
Have a valid Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, of Facebook account.

Participants are excluded if they are employees of Govee Moments (US) Trading Limited ("Sponsor" or "Govee"), Lucasfilm, Zynga, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, distributors and other prize suppliers, directors, officers, and each of their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household (whether legally related or not) of each.

Activation Period:

This Giveaway will begin on October 13th, 2024 at 11:00 AM EST and will end on October 20th at 11:59 PM EST ("Giveaway Period"). All eligible entries must be submitted within the Giveaway Period, otherwise, entries will be void.

How to Enter:

Participants ("Participants") can enter the Giveaway via social media using Instagram, X, and Facebook.

If via Instagram, Participants should follow Govee's official Instagram account and Zynga Star Wars’ official Instagram account, and comment on the Giveaway post, with the subject of the comment including which platform the Participant would want to play Star Wars: Hunters (acceptable words include “mobile,” “smartphone,” “phone,” “iPhone,” “Android,” “Nintendo,” “Switch,” etc.).

If via X, Participants should follow Govee's official X account and Zynga Star Wars’ official X account, and reply on the Giveaway post, with the subject of the reply including which platform the Participant would want to play Star Wars: Hunters (acceptable words include “mobile,” “smartphone, “phone,” “iPhone,” “Android,” “Nintendo,” “Switch,” etc.).

If via Facebook, Participants should follow Govee's official Facebook account and Zynga Star Wars’ official Facebook account, and comment on the Giveaway post, with the subject of the comment including which platform the Participant would want to play Star Wars: Hunters (acceptable words include “mobile,” “smartphone, “phone,” “iPhone,” “Android,” “Nintendo,” “Switch,” etc.).

Winner Selection:

A total of two (2) winners will be selected from all eligible Entries received during the Giveaway Period. There is one (1) winner for all Participant entries with comments or replies wanting to play Star Wars: Hunters on mobile, and one (1) winner for all Participant entries with comments or replies wanting to play Star Wars: Hunters on Nintendo Switch. Winners will be announced on October 23rd and Govee reserves the right to explain the winner selection.

Prizes:

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutes. Govee reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is out of stock. Govee and Zynga are not responsible for payment of any local, state, or federal taxes that may result from any prizes won in the Giveaway, and payment of any tax requirements resulting from prizes is the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

Mobile commenter winner: one (1) Govee Curtain Lights 2 ($149.99); one Star Wars: Hunters All-access Premium Arena Pass.

Nintendo Switch commenter winner: one (1) Govee TV Backlights 3 Lite for 55-65” TVs ($89.99) or for 75-85” TVs ($109.99)*; one Star Wars: Hunters All-access Premium Arena Pass.

* For prize package that include Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite, winners may select the model size they prefer.

** For Govee product prizes, winners will receive a product SKU version from their country of residence if possible. If not possible, winners will receive a US or EU SKU version.

Winner Notification:

Winners will be announced on Govee's official social accounts on October 23rd, 2024. Winners will be announced via an @goveeofficial Instagram Story and an edit update to the official Giveaway post, via an @GoveeOfficial X repost, and via an edit update on the official Giveaway post on Facebook. Govee's official account will contact the winners via Direct Message on the platform where the Participant submitted an Entry, and winners must reply within seven (7) days, providing their full name, email address, phone number, and shipping address to claim the prize. If a selected winner does not respond within the specified time or does not meet the eligibility requirements, an alternate winner may be selected.

Publicity:

By participating in the Giveaway, participants grant Govee the right to use their names, Instagram handles, X handles, and Facebook handles, and any submitted content for promotional purposes without any compensation or notice.

General Conditions:

Govee reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be violating these Terms & Conditions or attempting to manipulate or tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway. Govee reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Giveaway at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.

Release and Indemnification:

By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Instagram, X, Facebook, Govee Moments (US) Trading Limited, Lucasfilm, Disney, Zynga, and their respective parents, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, losses, damages, or injuries incurred or arising from their participation in the Giveaway.

Personal Information:

Participants' personal information collected during the Giveaway will be used only for the purpose of administering the Giveaway and will not be shared with third parties.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:

These Terms & Conditions and the Giveaway are governed by the laws of The United States of America without regard to its conflicts of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The United States of America.

Govee “Galaxy of Light” Curtain Lights App Event Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:

The Govee Curtain Lights App Event ("Giveaway") is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

Have a valid Govee Home App account

Activation Period:

This Giveaway will begin on October 13th and will end on October 16th at 11:59 PM PDT ("Giveaway Period"). All eligible entries must be submitted within the Giveaway Period, otherwise, entries will be void.

How to Enter:

In the Govee Home App community, each Participant should share a picture(s) or video(s) featuring one or more of the three (3) official Star Wars: Hunters Curtain Lights scene effects on the Participant’s own Curtain Lights, and/or share a picture(s) or video(s) of a custom DIY Curtain Lights scene effect made by the Participant themselves based on the theme of “Star Wars.” Participants are allowed to post multiple posts, and every post should include the hashtag #GoveeStarWarsHunters within the post’s caption.

Winner Selection:

A total of ten (10) winners will be selected from all eligible Entries received during the Giveaway Period. First and Second Prize winner selection (five winners total) will be based on post quality and an evaluation by the Govee app team. Lucky Prize winner selection (five winners total) will be chosen at random. Winners will be announced on October 17th and Govee reserves the right to explain the winner selection.

Participants represent and warrant that they have all rights to use and license all aspects of the their posted photo(s) and video(s) and agree to indemnify Lucasfilm, and other releases identified by Lucas or Disney, for all claims relating to copyright, trademark and right of publicity; Participant grants Govee (and when applicable, Lucasfilm) an unlimited, worldwide license to use the Participant’s posted photo(s) and video(s) in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed throughout the universe; Participants have no expectation of receiving compensation above that which may be awarded as a prize if Participant is a winner.
