There's an exceptionally elegant kettle with a design reminiscent of a teapot. Offering five different heating modes, a steel structure, and an LED screen, it goes beyond the typical kettle. It adjusts its temperature based on what you want to drink and has a fantastic feature to maintain the temperature. While the occasional use of an application may be tiring, its color, features, and heating capabilities make it an absolutely fantastic kettle.
Very easy pour, and its a great looking kettle with the black handle and black on black base. It blends nicely but would be nice in different colors. Its incredibly well balanced. The electronics are also quite thoughtful. It stays on for a short time, and remembers the last setting you had on when turned off.
It's beautiful, and it makes water hot consistently, quickly and it's easy to figure out. Can't really ask for much more from an electric kettle honestly.
We absolutely love this new addition to our kitchen. It works pretty fast easy to use both the actual kettle and the app! You are able to set up a timer and select what temperature you want it to according to what you're making. tea, coffee, green tea, black tea. Its a 10/10 for sure
I own a few Govee products, and they've always been great. The app is clean, and they continue to support their products. Google Home integration has also always been fairly seamless. This kettle is no different. Pairing to my WiFi took basically no time at all, and it was automatically added to my Google Home because I already had the services linked. All the features seem to work just fine. Starting it with the app or Google Home (app or voice) worked every time I tried it. Boiling took around 3-4 minutes. Kettle feels well built and there wasn't any metallic taste from the water.
While it's not a big deal, I don't love the lid. It's not insulated like some of the other ones I've tried before. The lid (not the knob you pick it up with), can get hot, and if you accidentally touch it while taking the top off you can get burned. Hasn't happened often to me, but I just wish they'd made it a bit thicker to avoid that issue.
