Eligibility:
Govee Light Festival 2026 is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

18 years of age or older at the beginning of the Contest.

Have a valid and public (non-private) Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, or Bluesky social account if entering via social media.

Have a valid Govee Home account if entering via Govee Home Community.
Employees of GOVEE MOMENTS LIMITED (“Govee”), its agencies, distributors, and their immediate family members (or household members) are not eligible to participate.
Entry Period:
The Contest entry period begins on August 5th, 2026 at 9AM PT and ends on September 2nd, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. (“Contest Period”). All eligible entries must be submitted within the Contest Period, otherwise, entries will be void.
How to Enter:
Participants ("Participants") can enter the Contest either on social media via Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, or Bluesky using a public social account on one of these social media platforms, or enter in Govee Home Community, using a valid Govee Home account.

Participants should submit photo or video content fitting one of the four designated event themes. These themes are:

Participants entering via Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, or Bluesky should post a photo(s) or video(s) featuring their Govee lighting (Participant Post), and use the hashtag #GoveeLightFestival2026 in the caption of their Participant Post. Each Participant should also follow Govee's official social account on the platform they are entering on.

Participants entering via Facebook may also comment on the official Govee Contest Posts with a photo(s) or video(s) featuring their Govee lighting (Participant Comment), and use the hashtag #GoveeLightFestival2026 in their Participant Comment.

Participants entering via Govee Home Community should post a photo(s) or video(s) featuring their Govee lighting (Participant Post), and use the hashtag #GoveeLightFestival2026 when creating a community post.
Note 1: For Instagram and TikTok, only entries posted on the Participant's feed will be counted as entries; Instragram Stories and TikTok Stories are not an eligible entry method.
Note 2: Only public social accounts are eligible to be entered in this Contest when entering via social media. Participant Posts and Participant Comments using privated social accounts will not be entered.
Winner Selection:
A total of thirty five (35) winners will be selected over the course of this Contest across all social and Govee Home Community entires. Winners will be selected by Govee staff, judging entries based on quality, creativity, engagement, and the 4 themes below:
Category 1: Share Your Lighting Journey

Theme 1: Before & After Transformation - Show us your creative before & after comparisons. (five (5) winners)

Theme 2: True Glow Story - Tell authentic stories that share personal expression through light. (five (5) winners)

Theme 3: Glow Guide Award - Share helpful tips and inspiring setup journeys. (five (5) winners)
Category 2: Name Your Glow

Theme: Creative Naming Award - Give an original name to your space that captures the space's lighting, mood, and personality. (twenty (20) winners)
Winners will be contacted no later than 7 days after the winners announcement. A single Participant may only be selected as a winner a maximum of one (1) time during this Contest, and only one (1) individual per household or family can be selected as a winner during this Contest. Govee reserves all rights for the selection of winners, and reserves the right to explain the winner selection.
Govee reserves the right to disqualify any Participant whose social media account or Govee Home account that, in their sole opinion, refers, depicts or in any way reflects negatively upon the Sponsor, the Contest, or any other person or entity; does not comply with these Official Rules; or if Govee receives notification about any potential infringements.
Prizes:
Each of the fifteen (15) Winners in Category 1 will receive one (1) Govee Sky Ceiling Light (12D0) with an ERV (Estimated Retail Value) of three hundred ninty nine dollars ninty nine cents ($399.99), one (1) Govee Ball Lights (H6850) with an ERV (Estimated Retail Value) of one hundred nineteen dollars ninty nine cents ($119.99), one (1) Govee Wallwash Light (H1771) with an ERV (Estimated Retail Value) of eighty nine dollars ninty nine cents ($89.99), and one (1) 2026 Light Festival Limited Edition Gift Box.
Each of the twenty (20) Winners in Category 2 will receive one (1) Govee COB Strip Light 2 Pro (H1AA5) with an ERV (Estimated Retail Value) of one hundred sixty nine dollars ninty nine cents ($169.99), and one (1) 2026 Light Festival Limited Edition Gift Box.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutes. Govee reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is out of stock. For products not yet officially available for public purchase (models 12D0, H6850, H1771, H1AA5), ERV estimated retail values are an estimate of product launch prices and are subject to change. Prize shipping to winners for these new products is currently estimated to be within September 2026, but may be delayed based on unforseen product launch date delays. The region SKU model of each prize product provided (US, UK, or EU model) will be based on product availability. Govee is not responsible for payment of any local, state, or federal taxes that may result from any prizes won in the Contest, and payment of any tax requirements resulting from prizes is the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
Winner Notification:
Winners will be announced September 7th, 2026. For winning Entries on social media, Participants will be notified via Direct Message or post comment by Govee's official social account on the platform where the Participant submitted an Entry, or via an email from app@govee.com for Participants in Govee Home Community, and winners need to reply within seven (7) days, with their full name, email address, phone number, and shipping address provided to claim the prize.
Publicity:
By participating in the Contest, Participants grant Govee the right to use their names, social media handles, Govee Home handles, and any submitted content for promotional purposes without any compensation or notice.
General Conditions:
Govee reserves the right to disqualify any Participant found to be violating these Terms & Conditions or attempting to manipulate or tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest. Govee reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Contest at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.
Release and Indemnification:
By participating in the Contest, participants agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless GOVEE MOMENTS LIMITED, Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, and their respective parents, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, losses, damages, or injuries incurred or arising from their participation in the Contest.
