By participating, you agree to these Terms below, as well as the Terms in our #LitByGovee UGC Campaign Terms & Conditions (which also covers this Contest) - so please read both of them carefully before submitting.
Eligibility:
Govee #SpookifyYourSpace Halloween Contest ("Contest") is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
A. Are 18 years old or older.
B. Have a valid and public Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Threads, or Bluesky account, or
C. Have a valid Govee Home Account
Participants are excluded if they are employees of Govee Moments (US) Trading Limited ("Sponsor" or "Govee"), and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, distributors and other prize suppliers, directors, officers, and each of their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household (whether legally related or not) of each.
Activation Period:
This Contest will begin on October 9, 2025 at 3AM PDT and ends October 31, 2025 at 11:59PM PDT ("Contest Period"). All eligible entries must be submitted within the Contest Period, otherwise, entries will be void.
How to Enter:
Participants ("Participants") can enter the Contest either via Govee Home App or on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Threads, or Bluesky.
If via Instagram, Threads, or X, Participants should post photo(s) and/or a video(s), use #SpookifyYourSpace and #LitByGovee in the post caption, and tag @GoveeOfficial in the post caption.
If via TikTok, Participants should post photo(s) and/or a video(s), use #SpookifyYourSpace and #LitByGovee in the post caption, and tag @govee.official in the post caption.
If via Bluesky, Participants should post photo(s) and/or a video(s), use #SpookifyYourSpace and #LitByGovee in the post caption, and tag @goveeofficial.bsky.social in the post caption.
If via Facebook, Participants should post photo(s) and/or a video(s) in the comment section of the Facebook Contest post, and use #SpookifyYourSpace and #LitByGovee in the contest post comment.
If via Govee Home App, Participants should post photo(s) and/or a video(s) in the Outdoor Lighting Decor Club with #SpookifyYourSpace in the post caption.
Posted photos and videos must be original content produced by the Participant themselves.
Winner Selection:
A total of fifteen (15) winners will be selected from all eligible Entries received during the Contest Period. Winners for the Outdoor Awards (Eerie Estate) and Indoor Awards (Terrifying Interior) will be selected by Govee based on post quality, post engagement (likes/comments) and Govee staff evaluation. Lucky Prize Winners will be chosen randomly. Winners will be contacted no later than November 7th, 2025 and Govee reserves the right in all winner selections. Only one individual per household or family can be selected as a winner in this Contest.
Prizes:
Outdoor Award (Eerie Estate) - (5 Winners): 1 x Govee Outdoor Projector Light (model H7073) with an ERV of one hundred forty nine dollars and ninty nine cents ($149.99).
Indoor Award (Terrifying Interior) - (5 Winners): 1 x Govee Curtain Lights Pro (1 pack) (model H70B6) with an ERV of hundred ninty nine dollars and ninty nine cents ($199.99)
Lucky Prize - (5 Winners): 200 Govee Points each + Govee Reusable Shopping Bag
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutes. Govee reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable or is not available in the winner's region. Govee is not responsible for payment of any local, state, or federal taxes that may result from any prizes won in the Contest, and payment of any tax requirements resulting from prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
Winner Notification:
Winners will be announced publicly on Govee's social channels and in Govee Home App within 5 days after the conclusion of the Contest Period. Winners entering on social media will be contacted via Direct Message or Post Reply by Govee's official social account on the platform where the Participant submitted an Entry (note: Thread participants will receive a Direct Message on Instagram), and winners need to reply within seven (7) days, with their full name, email address, phone number, and shipping address to claim the prize. Winners entering in Govee Home App will need to email app@govee.com within seven (7) days of the winners announcement with their full name, email address, phone number, and shipping address to claim the prize.
Publicity:
By participating in the Contest, participants grant Govee the right to use their names, Instagram handles, X handles, TikTok handles, Facebook handles, Thread handles, Bluesky handles, Govee Home App handles, and any submitted content for promotional purposes without any compensation or notice. By participating, Participants on social media also agree to the Terms in our #LitByGovee UGC Campaign Terms & Conditions.
General Conditions:
Govee reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be violating these Terms & Conditions or attempting to manipulate or tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest. Govee reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Contest at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.
Release and Indemnification:
By participating in the Contest, participants agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Govee, Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, and their respective parents, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, losses, damages, or injuries incurred or arising from their participation in the Contest.
