Welcome to Govee's Back-To-School Playlist Event!
It's time to head back to class, and we want our community's help to build the ultimate back-to-school music playlist. By participating, you agree to these Terms below, and participants ("Participants") entering this contest using hashtag #LitByGovee to post a video also agree to the Terms listed in our #LitByGovee UGC Campaign Terms & Conditions. Please read both of these carefully before entering.
Eligibility:
Govee Back-To-School Playlist 2025 Event ("Contest") is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
a. 18 years of age or older at the beginning of the Contest.
b. Are a legal resident of the United States of America.
c. Have a valid Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, or Bluesky account.
Entry Period:
The entry period for this Contest begins on August 21st, 2025 at 11:00 AM EDT and ends on August 29th, 2025 at 11:59 PM EDT ("Contest Period"). All eligible entries must be submitted within the Contest Period, otherwise, entries will be void.
How to Enter:
Participants ("Participants") can enter the Contest via Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, or Bluesky.
Participants have two methods for entering the Contest:

Participants can enter by commenting with a music song title in the comments section of any of the Contest Posts on one of the social platforms listed above, or -
Participants can enter by posting a video to their social feed on one of the social platforms listed above, with the video showing their Govee lights reacting to a song, and with the hashtag #LitByGovee being included in the video post caption.
Note 1: For any Participant entering the contest by posting a video to their social feed, the social account being posted on must be a publicly-viewable account. Participants posting video content to private social accounts will not be entered.
Note 2: Participants entering the contest by posting a video to their social feed will be agreeing to the Terms listed on this page, as well as the Terms listed in our #LitByGovee UGC Campaign Terms & Conditions. Please read both of these carefully before entering.
Winner Selection:
A total of fifteen (15) winners will be selected: Three (3) Grand Prize Winners and Twelve (12) Second Prize Winners.
First reveal: Five (5) winners will be revealed in the period between August 22nd and August 29th, 2025. These winners will be comprised of one (1) Grand Prize Winner and four (4) Second Prize Winners, and will be announced via an official Govee feed post or stories post to each of the social platforms Participants may enter on.
Final reveal: All remaining winners (for a total of fifteen (15) winners) will be revealed on August 30th, 2025.
Govee reserves all rights for the selection of winners.
Prizes:
Three (3) Grand Prize Winners will each receive one (1) Govee Table Lamp 2 Pro x Sound by JBL (H6020) with an ERV of hundred seventy nine dollars and ninty nine cents (US$179.99) and one (1) 12-Month Spotify Premium eGift Card with an ERV of one hundred twenty dollars (US$120.00).
Twelve (12) Second Prize Winners will each receive one (1) 3-Month Spotify Premium eGift Card with an ERV of thirty six dollars (US$36.00).
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutes. Govee reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is out of stock. Govee is not responsible for payment of any local, state, or federal taxes that may result from any prizes won in the Contest, and payment of any tax requirements resulting from prizes is the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
Winner Notification:
Winners will be contacted via Direct Message or post comment by Govee's official social account on the platform where the Participant submitted an Entry, and winners need to reply within seven (7) days, with their full name, email address, phone number, and shipping address provided to claim the prize. Govee product prizes will be physically shipped to the winner shipping addresses, while egift card prizes will be emailed to the winner email addresses.
Publicity:
By participating in the Contest, Participants grant Govee the right to use their names, social media handles, and any submitted content for promotional purposes without any compensation or notice.
General Conditions:
Govee reserves the right to disqualify any Participant found to be violating these Terms & Conditions or attempting to manipulate or tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest. Govee reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Contest at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.
Release and Indemnification:
By participating in the Contest, participants agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Govee, Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, Spotify, and their respective parents, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, losses, damages, or injuries incurred or arising from their participation in the Contest.
Spotify is not an official partner, sponsor, or affiliate of this giveaway. Spotify does not endorse or administer this promotion and is not responsible for any aspect of the giveaway. The Spotify name and logo are trademarks of Spotify and are used solely to describe the prize.
