I am writing my review after my second purchase of the Dreamview T1. These things are really game changers, especially for gaming (no pun intended). I bought my first T1 for my 65in living room TV and just purchased another one now for my the 55in TV in my downstairs den, since it now feels severely lacking without one. The Govee strip lights, RBGIC light bulbs, and glides compliment with this product nicely as well. If you have a smaller TV (<43in) I would recommend getting the Govee Light Bars, which have the unique video mirroring feature, and look great too.
I have been addicted to Govee lights ever since my first purchase...
*Side note to new customers: like many of you, I was first introduced to Govee through Amazon, but if you like their products (which you will), I would recommend buying directly through Govee. They have a mobile apps which allows you to gather points for discounts, and always offer free shipping. Basically, you will get better prices going through them directly and their company is legit.
The product works great, but setting up detail does not exist, either on youtube or in manual. You will need to determine positioning on the back of the television to place lights vertically and horizontally around and near the perimeter. I am still not sure what is optimum.
Govee DreamView T1 TV Backlight
this govee backlight changed the way i watch movies/game/streaming since my tv is ultra bright in a small room it helps tones down the tv brighness and not deal with eye strains. im still playing with the scene and video calibrating until i find my go to led theme layout
