Govee Glide Triangle Light Panels

SO! first thing is first. I ABSOLUTELY love this product for my room, like literally lights up my entire room at night can change it to any color I want or set a mood depending on my emotions. CAUTION If you have dry wall PLEASE do be very careful pulling the adhesives off because it has already ripped off the paint and dry wall from my room..... lets just say its extra sticky..anyways back to this product, it is very organized and will packed when I received it, instructions are straight forward and has a video to show you how to install it. will most likely be buying more panels in the future.

These lights are gorgeous and overall easy to setup. But I'm hoping more can be done with updates. I mainly bought them to pair with my Govee PC lights with the camera that watches my screen and copies the colors from there. Sadly, all 10 lights glow the same color. With how big the lights, it would be nice if the device could do multiple colors while connected to the PC camera. Also, if you could control the brightness of individual devices connected to the camera, that would be a big bonus too.

Vibrant colors, easy to connect,requires app for color change, while some will be frustrated by this Govee has one of the better app experiences.I've taken an old smart phone and tablet and have them on each floor of the house in the common area.Use these to dump all my apps not necessarily needed on my main phone.I.E my assorted cameras, drones, RGB strips, and assorted RGB lighting.

The hardest part for me was trying to decide on a pattern and orientation. There��s really only three downsides I��ve found for these compared to competitors like nano leaf:-there are no separators at corner joints, which could throw off the evenness of the triangles depending on your pattern-you have to put sides flush against each other, which limits your designs-some of the color patterns get a little grayed out during transitions. This doesn��t look good in fast or slow speedsInstallation was fairly easy, you just have to make sure you have the connector pieces in the right slot, pointing the correct side up, and also pointing the right way between triangles. Mind the power slot. Everything else was pretty straightforward between the videos and app-guided setup.There are some neat effects pre-loadedthe app. I��m sure I haven��t tried all the features yet. I put this in the background of my office for Zoom calls, but the light always seems washed out and people can��t tell the difference between panels (probably more to do with the camera than anything). It��s been a lot of fun to have and my kids get a kick out of picking different effects. I wish there was maybe another two triangles in the pack for some different designs but I��ve been very happy with the product so far.

Because of the requirement for a flat surface these have limited options depending on the surface, a minor negative not worth taking a star off and if you really wanted to you could make these work anywhere with some work.We live in an older home so were limited a little in our options.Other than that we liked everything else about these lights, they were pretty much plug and play.I like that you get 10 panels, gives you a lot of choices and flexibility in design.I have them in a video game nook that is perfect but just haven't had much of a chance to use them yet, will update when I do.
